How do I use Reddit Researcher?
Simply @mention @Reddit Researcher in any Slack channel with your research question. For example: "What do people think about [topic]?" or "What features do users want in [product]?"
How many credits do I get?
New workspaces get 5 free credits to start. Quick Scans are free, Standard Scans cost 1 credit, and Deep Scans cost 2-3 credits depending on the topic complexity.
What's the difference between Quick, Standard, and Deep Scans?
Quick Scan: Fast research in ~1 minute, searches ~30 posts. Great for quick insights.
Standard Scan: Deeper analysis with ~150 posts in 2-3 minutes. Better for thorough research.
Deep Scan: Comprehensive research that searches multiple angles and can take ~6 minutes. Best for important decisions.
Where do the results go?
Results are posted as threaded replies in Slack and also saved to a Slack Canvas document for easy reading and sharing with your team.
Can I see my research history?
Yes! All your research is saved for 1 year. You can reference past scans by asking follow-up questions in the same thread, or by checking your Canvas documents.

Yes. We don't sell or share your data. Research queries and results are stored securely to provide the service. See our

How do I get more credits?
Contact your workspace admin or reach out to us at

How do I uninstall the app?
Go to your Slack workspace settings → Apps → Reddit Researcher → Remove App. Your data will be retained for 30 days in case of accidental removal, then permanently deleted. For immediate deletion, contact us.
